Rossendale Triathlon – 27th May 2018
Now coming into its 12th year the Rossendale Triathlon has established itself as an “Athlete’s Race”. A race that is organised for and by triathletes.
This year, the entry fee is just £45.00 (Non BTF members) or £40.00 for BTF members, making it one of the best value races anywhere.
For your hard earned cash you will experience a 400m swim in the beautiful setting of Marl Pits Leisure Centre, Rawtenstall in the heart of the East Lancashire Pennines, followed by a lumpy 21k bike ride which includes the “Crown Point Roller Coaster” and 5 miles of descent back into Rossendale. The run is a crowd-pleasing undulating 5k comprising of 3 laps mixture of road, trail and track.
We will also be using chip timing again after it’s successful implementation last year. And be sure not to leave before the presentation where there will be lots of great spot prizes.
We look forward to seeing you on race day!
Next Race – 27th May 2018
This year’s Entry fee is just £45.00 (Non BT members), £40.00 (BT members), making it one of the best value races anywhere. In addition to solo entry, there are some relay team entries too.
The Rossendale Triathlon is organised by a small committee made up of volunteers and has established itself as an “athletes race”. As Triathletes ourselves we have experienced a large number of events and are committed to ensuring that Rossendale Triathlon is a great value triathlon where the needs of the competitor come first. We ensure that every junction is marshalled, that race results are available the same day, that the course is signposted and every competitor has a chance of winning a prize!
Every aspect of our race has been reviewed to ensure that our competitors have the best experience possible.
We have also managed to keep our entry fee to only £45.00. Any profit we make from the race goes directly back into either next year’s event or improving training facilities at Rossendale Triathlon Club.
